I must have had a slightly incorrect email address you gave me, so I'm sending this to the generic address.
 
I wanted to thank you for your hospitality and friendly attitude during my recent stay at your hotel.  As a first-time visitor to Hanoi, I was very wary of things.  You were very helpful and enthusiastic in arranging my Ha Long Bay for 3 days and two nights.  The tour itself went well with only very minor exceptions.  The highlights of the tour were teh tour guides themselves: Tony and Vien.  Tony was quite a joker and gave it hjis best to relax everyone, engage them by name, and provise entertaining information along the long bus ride to the boat boarding point, as well as on the boat. Vien's energy and outgoing spirit helped keep us all looking forward to each point she guided us on.  I understand they are free lancers thru Sinh Tourist, but you would be wise to use them often.
 
I hope your study of English is going well.  Don't hesitate to email me if you have a question.

Thank you very much for all your help this afternoon. I very much appreciate your kindness in looking after me and my bike.

Once Cuong has got the bike going, he will either take it to his workshop or deliver it to my work.
I look forward to meeting you again, under different circumstances.
I have learned to never go out without my wallet and my phone.
