Chol Chnam Thmay Festival
Time: From the 1st to the 3rd day of Chet month (according to Buddhist calendar, equivalent to the 12th to 15th day of April by solar calendar).
Objects of worship: Welcoming the God of the New Year, Buddha and ancestors.
Characteristics: The traditional Tet (New Year) of the Khmer community, seeing the old year off and welcoming the New Year.
Participator: The Khmer people in the southern provinces.
Hoang Cong Chat Temple Festival
Time: 24th to 25th day of the second lunar month.

Place: Noong Nhai Hamlet, Noong Het Commune, Dien Bien District, Dien Bien Province.

Objects of worship: Hoang Cong Chat - leader of a peasant's movement in the 18th century.

Characteristics: Palanquin procession, incense offering; Folk games: Pick up the fairy peaches, co phat (a kind of board games) playing, pole pushing, crossbow contest...
Xen Muong Festival in Lai Chau
Time: The Thin day of the second lunar month
Place: Muong Than Commune, Than Uyen District, Lai Chau Province
Characteristics: Offering buffalo; throwing con, folk dances.
Bui Village Festival
Time: the 28th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Bui Village, Yen Phong District, Bac Ninh Province.
Objects of worship: Buddha.
Characteristics: Worship Buddha and sing quan ho songs on boats.
Do Temple Festival
Time: The 15th day of the third lunar month.
Place: Dinh Bang Village, Dinh Bang Commune, Tu Son Town, Bac Ninh Province.
Objects of worship: Eight kings of the Ly Dynasty.
Characteristics: The procession of palanquin from Dan Pagoda (Co Phap) to the temple, barbecued buffalo used as sacrifices - offering.
Tet Trung Nguyen
Time: 15th day of the seventh lunar month.

Place: Pagodas in the country and in families.

Objects of worship: The Buddha.

Characteristics: The deceased pardoning ceremony, praying to clear of false charges.
Dinh Thay Temple Festival

Time: From the 14th to the 16th day of the ninth lunar month.
Place: Dinh Thay Temple, Tan Hai Commune, Ham Tan District, Binh Thuan Province.
Objects of worship: Thay and Thim, wife and husband who had merit of treating disease for poor people.
Characteristics: Vegetarian meal worshipping in the everning of the 15th day, vegetarian meal and meat meal worshipping on the 16th day, sortileging, casting a horoscope.

Kham Festival
Time: 7th day of the fourth lunar month.
Place: Ngoc Kham Village, Gia Dong Commune, Thuan Thanh District, Bac Ninh Province.
Objects of worship: Three tutelary gods: Lac Long Quan, Tri Son (Mountain Genie), Tri Thuy (Water Genie).
Characteristics: Lac Long Quan's procession to the communal house, Tutelary God council, sacrifices to pray for good crops, and for welcoming the first rain of the rainy season.
Worshiping Ceremony at villages of the Cong
Time: In third lunar month.

Place: Mountainous villages of the Cong, Dien Bien Province.

Characteristics: During the days of worshiping ceremony, all the entrances of the village  are placed with gates and taboo signals that forbid strangers entering the village. And then each family celebrates the worshiping ceremony at their terrace field praying for plentiful crops, insect and birds not to harm the crops.
